
Kashenyi Secondary School Students Urged to Prioritize God in Their Lives
Rukungiri: Students of Kashenyi Secondary School have been urged to put God first in their lives to avoid actions that bring sorrow to their parents.
This call was made on March 3, by the Education Coordinator for North Kigezi Diocese, Rev. Munturive Nshabaruhanga, during a retreat at Kashenyi Secondary School in Ruhinda Sub-county, Rukungiri District.
Rev. Nshabaruhanga advised students to engage in activities that make their parents proud and contribute to their personal growth. He emphasized that the purpose of the retreat was to strengthen students spiritually and remind them to stay away from worldly temptations that could lead them astray.

Rev. Ivan Mwongyera, the headteacher of Kashenyi Secondary School, expressed gratitude to God for a successful retreat. He urged students to remain disciplined and be role models by following Jesus as their personal savior. He also encouraged teachers to reinforce the messages from the retreat in their classroom teachings.

Meanwhile, students Taremwa Dickson and Ankunda Chris appreciated the retreat, saying it had shaped their future by teaching them to fear God and prioritize Him in their lives. They noted that they had learned to be mindful of their actions and avoid anything that could cause pain to their parents.
