Rukungiri: Immaculate Heart Girls School Nyakibale has held a dedication mass for its 521 Senior Four candidates as they prepare to begin the UNEB examinations scheduled to start on October 13.
The mass, held on October 12, in the school chapel located in Kagashe ward Eastern Division, Rukungiri Municipality, was led by Rev. Fr. Conrad Atuheire, the parish priest of Nyakibale Catholic Parish.
Fr. Atuheire blessed the candidates and encouraged them to be strong and confident as they face their final exams. He reminded them that their teachers have prepared them well and expressed faith that they will perform excellently.

He further noted that the upcoming exams are a bridge to the next stage of their education, urging the students to take them seriously as they determine their future.
The school’s Deputy Headteacher, Sister Mary Grace Naturinda, said the dedication mass was organized to present the candidates before God for blessings and guidance during the examination period.
She expressed confidence that the candidates are well-prepared, noting that teachers have done their part in ensuring the students are ready. Sister Naturinda also encouraged students to trust in God, remain disciplined, and revise their notes as they sit for the exams.

She added that this is the second year for candidates to sit for the new curriculum exams and expressed optimism that this year’s results will be even better than last year’s.
The Senior Four UNEB examinations officially begins on October 13, with the Geography paper.
