Hon. David Tushabomwe Boosts Education in Rubabo with Pre-PLE Exam Support for Primary Schools
Rukungiri: Head-teachers from four sub-counties in Rubabo Constituency, Rukungiri District, have received pre-PLE exam materials for primary schools from the office of Hon. David Tushabomwe Ndindi.
The distribution was confirmed on October 26, 2024, by Herbert Turyasigura, headteacher of Bwanga High School who doubles as the political assistant to Tushabomwe. During a meeting with head teachers from Rubabo’s sub-counties, Turyasigura emphasized that Tushabomwe’s office is committed to supporting education as well as projects in healthcare and local churches.
He noted that education is foundational for future professionals like doctors and lawyers. The sub-counties of Buyanja, Kebisoni, Nyarushanje, and Nyakishenyi were confirmed as recipients of the exam materials.
Saraly Beineomugisha, headteacher of Nyakiju Primary and Paul Mateka, headteacher of Model Primary School and chairperson of headteachers in Nyarushanje Sub-county, expressed gratitude for Tushabomwe’s support, emphasizing its positive impact on education. They encouraged fellow headteachers to use these exams to build students’ confidence ahead of the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).
Alfred Twamwebonire, chairperson for all schools in Buyanja Sub-county, shared his appreciation, stating that the pre-PLE exams would boost education in the area and noting this is not the first time Hon. Tushabomwe has supported local schools.
