Hon. Annah Nuwagaba Steps Aside for Hon. Medius Natukunda Kaharata in Rukungiri Woman MP Race

Rukungiri: The aspiring Woman Member of Parliament for Rukungiri District, Hon. Annah Nuwagaba Tumuramye, has stepped aside in favor of the incumbent, Hon. Medius Natukunda Kaharata.

Hon. Natukunda was duly nominated on October 22, in Rukungiri on an independent ticket after losing the NRM flag in the recently concluded party primaries. Nuwagaba was seen accompanying Natukunda at the Electoral Commission tally center located at the Rukungiri District headquarters.

In an interview with our reporter, Nuwagaba explained that she decided to step aside and rally behind Hon. Kaharata in order to consolidate support and ensure victory in the upcoming general elections.

“I have chosen to stand with Hon. Medius Natukunda Kaharata so that we can unite our forces and mobilize voters to give her another term in office,” Nuwagaba stated.

Nuwagaba, who was scheduled to be nominated tomorrow, urged her supporters, campaign managers, and agents to back Hon. Kaharata, emphasizing the importance of unity in achieving success in the forthcoming elections.
