Father on the Run After Attacking Son and Wife Over Alleged Affair 

Kampala: Police in Nsangi are searching for a man identified as Kaweesa Charles, who is accused of attacking his son, Alex Kimbugwe, and his wife, Harriet Nabosa, after allegedly catching them in a compromising situation in their home. 

According to Patrick Onyango, the police spokesperson, the incident occurred on January 10 at around 7:54 pm. Kaweesa reportedly returned home tired and found his wife missing. Suspecting an affair between his wife and his son, he went to Kimbugwe’s room, where he allegedly caught the two in an intimate act. 

In a fit of rage, Kaweesa picked up a panga (machete) and attacked both of them, inflicting severe injuries on their heads, chests, and shoulders. After the attack, he fled the scene. 

The injured pair were rushed to Mulago Hospital, where they are receiving treatment. Police have launched a manhunt for Kaweesa, who will face attempted murder charges once apprehended. 

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
