Electoral Commission Receives PFF Signatures for Verification
Kampala: The Electoral Commission (EC) has officially received the registration application of the People’s Front for Freedom (PFF), marking a critical step in the political group’s journey toward becoming a registered political party.
The PFF promoters, a faction that broke away from the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), submitted their signatures, party constitution, and other requisite documents at the EC headquarters in Kampala on November 28.
Arriving at 12:30pm, the delegation was warmly welcomed by the EC’s principal public relations officer Paul Bukenya.
The submission capped weeks of nationwide mobilization to gather the required two-thirds of endorsements for party registration.
Handing over the documents to Vincent Molokozi of the EC’s political party registration desk, PFF representative Wafula Ogutu, expressed their commitment to meeting EC requirements.
