Country Radio share spoils with Bugangari SS in 3-3 friendly draw.
Rukungiri: It was an exuberant day on Thursday March 19, 2026 as Bugangari secondary school and Country Radio staff moved to strengthen their relationship in a friendly football match held at Bugangari sub-county playground in Rujumbura county.
The long awaited game ended with all sides sharing the points after a levelled score of 3-3 at full time before hundreds of cheerful spectators.
The day featured other thrills and spills from netball match where country radio staff trounced Bugangari SS staff with 7-5 rounds.

Meanwhile Jimmy Rukaranga emerged the winner in the wrestling game after defeating 5 other contenders who include Moses Nasasira, Ronald Tumuhamye, Innocent Turyakyira, Benson Arizabaraga and Celestine Tumwijukye.
Speaking before the start of the games, the headteacher of Bugangari secondary school Robert Mwesigwa thanked Country Radio staff for choosing to have a friendly match with his school and called for the upholding of the established relationship.
On her part, the station manager Country Radio Jackline Tumuhairwe commonly known as Aunt jackie asked students to be patient in their academic journey and exhibit good behaviours in and around their communities.
Tumuhairwe promised to keep the relationship between the two institutions sounding.
