Christians Urged to Embrace Unity, Love, and Cooperation

Rukungiri: Christians have been encouraged to embrace unity, love, and cooperation as essential values for building a strong and thriving community.

The message was delivered on July 13, by the Pastor of Christ Believers Temple Alfred Mugarura Kaharata who was the guest of honor during a thanksgiving ceremony the parish priest of Christ the King Parish for Rev. Fr. Dr. Julius Turyatorana, in Western Division, Rukungiri Municipality.

Pastor Mugarura emphasized that these virtues are crucial not only for strengthening Christian communities but also for serving as a powerful witness to the world.

During the mass, Rev. Fr. Julius Turyatorana called on Christians to be generous and love one another, urging them to emulate Jesus Christ, who offered himself as a sacrificial lamb for the salvation of all. He encouraged Christians to support the less privileged and be ambassadors of peace and unity in their families and communities.

Rev. Fr. Turyatorana also advised parents and guardians to be mindful of their language when speaking to children. He cautioned against using negative or loose words, noting that many of the challenges young people face today are rooted in the harmful statements directed at them by their parents.
