Christians of All Saints Church Bid Farewell to Rev. Alfred Murangira. 

Rukungiri: Christians of All Saints Church in Rukungiri on January 12, bid farewell to their Curate, Rev. Alfred Murangira, who has been transferred to Mashongora Church of Uganda in Kyabugashe Archdeaconry. 

Rev. Alfred joined All Saints Church in Rujumbura Archdeaconry three and a half years ago as a youthful deacon from Uganda Christian University. During his time at the church, he got married to Ruth Murangira and was later ordained as a priest. 

He will be replaced by Rev. Deacon Moses Tugume. 

The Rujumbura Archdeacon Ven. Dickson Kakanyisa, praised Rev. Alfred for his hard work and dedication, noting that they had an excellent working relationship throughout his tenure.

During the same service, which also marked Mission Sunday, Ven. Kakanyisa informed the congregation that their lay reader, Hannington Tumutegyereize, will be transferred to a church outside Rujumbura Archdeaconry. The transfer was due to accommodation challenges at the church after the Bishop assigned two Reverends, making it difficult to retain the lay reader.

On January 13, Rev. Alfred reported to his new station, while All Saints Church welcomed Rev. Amos Musinguzi as their new Vicar from Nyamifura Church of Uganda Parish in the afternoon.
