Christians Bid Farewell to Ordinand William Birungi as He Begins Pastoral Work at Bwanga Church of Uganda

Rukungiri: Christians of All Saints Church of Uganda, under the North Kigezi Diocese in Rukungiri Municipality, have bid farewell to Ordinand William Birungi and his wife Constance Birungi, following their transfer and posting to Bwanga Church of Uganda in Nyarushanje Sub-county.

Ordinand Birungi, who has served as a teacher for over 15 years, recently joined the clergy and is now taking up his first pastoral assignment as a parish priest and church leader at Bwanga Church.

He is expected to officially begin his ministry tomorrow. The journey to his new parish will start at 2:00 PM from All Saints Church, marking the beginning of his new chapter in service to the Lord.

During his farewell on August 3, Birungi expressed gratitude to the Bishop of North Kigezi Diocese, Rt. Rev. Onesmus Asiimwe, for entrusting him with the responsibility and posting him to Bwanga Church. He also appreciated the support and encouragement received from Christians at All Saints Church, both during his theological studies and his time of service at the parish.

He called upon Christians at Bwanga Church of Uganda to welcome him warmly and to work together in unity to worship and spread the Word of God.
