Buguma FC Crowned Champions of Timothy Inter-Cells Memorial Cup

Rukungiri: Buguma FC has emerged victorious in the Timothy Inter-Cells Memorial Cup tournament held at Nyabiteete Secondary School playground, defeating Rushaka FC 3–1 in an exciting final match.

The chief coordinator of the tournament, Joel Mugisha, on December 27, said the competition brings together all the cells of Nyabiteete Parish and continues to grow every year. He explained that the tournament helps the youth to focus their energy on sports and spend their leisure time productively.

Mugisha added that the tournament is sponsored by the community through contributions. He thanked the district football association for providing qualified referees, saying their support has helped maintain discipline and fairness throughout the tournament.

The team captain of Buguma FC, Kevin Collins, attributed their victory to discipline, teamwork, cooperation, and strong fan support. He advised other footballers to prioritize discipline if they want to develop their talent.
