Bishop Onesimus Asiimwe Urges Believers to Recall Their Lives Before Giving Thanks to God

Rukungiri: The Bishop of North Kigezi Diocese, Rt. Rev. Onesimus Asiimwe, has urged Christians to reflect on their lives before offering thanks to God, emphasizing that true gratitude comes from recalling God’s goodness in every aspect of life.

Bishop Asiimwe made these remarks on July 20, during a thanksgiving ceremony organized by the Director of Universal High School Kisaasi Godfrey Nuwagaba, held at Rwentuuha Church of Uganda in Buyanja Sub-county, Rukungiri District.

The Bishop commended Nuwagaba and his wife for remembering and honoring God through their thanksgiving, calling their act a powerful testimony of faith and humility.

During his sermon, the Bishop also called upon believers to reconcile with God by repenting their sins particularly warning against the vices of alcoholism and prostitution.

Godfrey Nuwagaba expressed gratitude to the Bishop for visiting the church.

The senior warden of Rwentuuha Church of Uganda Patrick Nyesiga, appreciated Nuwagaba’s family for their support in the church’s construction projects.

Nyesiga noted that Rwentuuha Church was established through the efforts of various leaders over the years and called on the congregation to maintain unity and cooperation for the continued growth of the church.
