Bishop Ahimbisibwe Charges IMBASS candidates on commitment.
Ntungamo: The Bishop of South Ankole Diocese, Rt. Rev. Nathan Ahimbisibwe, has encouraged students to remain committed to their education, emphasizing that they are the future saviors of Uganda.
He made these remarks on Monday October 7, 2024 while preaching at the dedication service of 192 Senior 4 and Senior 6 candidates at Ihunga Mugyera Basin Secondary School (IMBASS) in Karama cell, Ngomba Parish, Rugarama sub-county, Ntungamo district, as they prepare for their final exams.
Bishop Ahimbisibwe commended the candidates for upholding the legacy of their school and prayed for their success in the upcoming UNEB exams. He urged them to have faith in God and believe they will excel.
The school’s director, Ivan Karabahi, expressed confidence in the students’ readiness, particularly the Senior 4 (UCE) candidates, stating that discipline and faith will help them perform well in their exams.
Dan Muhwezi, a teacher at IMBASS, highlighted that the school has prepared students for the new curriculum by bringing in external examiners to boost their confidence.
