
Assistant RDC Kellen Kagisha Urges Nyabiteete Patriots to Uphold Discipline and Patriotism
Rukungiri: The Assistant Resident District Commissioner (ARDC) of Rukungiri District, Kallen Kagisha, has urged students to uphold discipline, work hard, and persevere in all they do.
Kagisha made the remarks on July 19, while officiating at the passing out ceremony of 230 patriots at Nyabiteete Secondary School in Buyanja Sub county, Rukungiri District.
Representing the RDC Steven Nsubuga Bewayo, Kagisha emphasized the importance of loving and serving the country by abiding by its laws and protecting it from internal and external threats. She encouraged the youth to focus on education and acquire practical skills to address the challenge of limited employment opportunities, especially in white-collar jobs.
Kagisha also advised the students to protect themselves from sexually transmitted diseases and avoid early pregnancies.

The Deputy Head teacher and Patron of the Patriotism Club at Nyabiteete Secondary School, Asaph Akatwijuka said that patriotism is not just a one-time activity, but a way of life demonstrated through daily actions such as respecting leaders, institutions, and upholding national values.
He commended the patriots for their high level of discipline during the training and noted that there were no indiscipline cases registered, unlike in previous years. Akatwijuka encouraged the students to apply what they have learned and become ambassadors of patriotism among their peers.
