Angello Twinomuhangi Urges Supporters to Stay Strong Amid Intimidation Ahead of LCV Elections.

Rukungiri: Aspiring Rukungiri District LCV Chairperson, Angello Twinomuhangi, has called on his supporters to remain firm and vote for him despite reports of intimidation targeting his campaign agents at various polling stations.

Speaking during a talk show on Country Radio this evening July 23, Twinomuhangi revealed that some of his agents are being harassed and discouraged from displaying his campaign posters at polling stations.

He alleged that certain politicians are behind these acts, aimed at confusing voters by preventing his agents from being visible on election day.

Twinomuhangi further claimed that in several parts of Buyanja and some areas of Bwambara Sub-counties, his posters have been defaced and his agents threatened to keep away from polling stations.

He urged voters in areas where his agents are being intimidated to remain vigilant and cast their votes for him, assuring them that he is committed to serving Rukungiri District as a leader who understands their challenges — not as a ruler.

Elections for NRM flag bearers for the position of district LCV Chairperson will take place across the country tomorrow Thursday, July 24.
