55 Pupils Graduate from Top Class to Primary One at Karinoni Community Nursery & Primary School
Rukungiri: A total of 55 pupils have graduated from Top Class to Primary One at Karinoni Community Nursery and Primary School in a colorful ceremony held at Nyakabungo Hiika, Nyakabungo Parish, Buyanja Sub-County in Rukungiri District.
While addressing parents and guests, the head teacher Brian Nuwamanya expressed gratitude to parents for the love and trust they continue to show the school. He revealed that over the past three years, Karinoni School has registered remarkable success in the Primary Leaving Examinations, posting an average of six first grades every year.
Nuwamanya reaffirmed the teachers’ commitment to providing quality education and urged parents to continue supporting the school in order to maintain and improve performance.
However, he noted that the rising number of learners has put pressure on the school’s limited resources, including desks, classroom infrastructure, and the long distances many pupils walk to and from school. Nuwamanya appealed for support to enable the school accommodate the growing population.

He urged the government to consider taking over the school and granting it government-aided status to ease the financial burden on parents and teachers.
Rwarangaara also appreciated both teachers and parents for their continuous efforts in creating a supportive learning environment and providing the scholastic materials that have enabled pupils to excel.
