53 Pupils Graduate from Mother Care Nursery and Primary School
Rukungiri: 53 pupils of Mother Care Nursery and Primary School have graduated from Top Class to Primary One in a colorful ceremony held at the school premises in Rugando Cell, Nyakinengo Parish, Nyakagyeme Sub-county in Rukungiri District.
The ceremony began on December 2, with a procession of pupils and parents, after which the graduates received certificates from the school administration.
While addressing parents and guests, the school director Cosma Ebyarimpa thanked parents for being the roots of the school, appreciating their continued support, as well as the teachers for their commitment toward academic excellence.
Ebyarimpa revealed that the school has performed well in the recent district examinations. Out of 63 Primary Four pupils, 41 passed in Grade One, 21 in Grade Two, and one in Grade Three. For Primary Six, out of 30 candidates, 17 passed in Grade One and 13 in Grade Two.
He encouraged parents to assign domestic work to their children and desist from sending them away to relatives, saying children should be taught to be responsible instead of spending most of their time playing matatu, attending dances, and engaging in unproductive activities.
