30 People’s Front for Freedom Candidates Nominated in Kebison Town Council

Rukungiri: A total of 30 out of 44 candidates representing the People’s Front for Freedom (PFF) in Kebison Town Council have been officially nominated to participate in the upcoming 2025–2026 general elections.

The nomination exercise took place at the premises of Kebison Town Council in Rukungiri District.

Among the nominated candidates are aspiring mayor of Kebison Town Council Zephes Abamanya, aspiring LC5 District Councilor for Eastern Ward Rosemary Tukamuhebwa, aspiring LC5 male councilor for Kebison Town Council Musa Tukamushaba, Milton Murisa and Eva Shaba, both aspiring LC3 councilors for Southern Ward and aspiring LC3 councilor for Central Ward Abon Akankwasa and among others.

The nominated candidates expressed their commitment to listening to the needs of the community and pledged to advocate for the people’s priorities. They aim to represent the interests and concerns of residents within Kebison Town Council once elected.

The Chairperson of PFF in Kebison Town Council, Richard Bibyomumisho, encouraged voters to remain patient, confident, and fearless as they prepare to participate in the upcoming party primary elections.

The General Secretary and Publicity Officer for PFF in Rukungiri District Caleb Musimenta, expressed optimism that the party is gaining popularity and political momentum, with the potential to surpass the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) in influence across the district.
