2 habitual Thieves repent after stealing Mobile phone and money at a prayer conference

Rukungiri: A team of traffic police officers from Rukungiri Central Police Station led by Corporal Daniel Natima, in Rukungiri district on Sunday August 26, 2024 reported an incident where two individuals, only identified as Grant and James, were caught ready handed while stealing a phone and money from a bag at Rukungiri Main Stadium.

The stadium was hosting a prayer conference organized by the Warriors of God Fellowship ministries.

Cpl Natima explained that the stolen phone was quickly recovered, and the police intervened to return it to its rightful owner.

The suspects pleaded guilty and were set free after repenting and vowing never to engage in criminal activities again.

Natima noted that praying for criminals is rare but is sometimes done depending on the severity of the crime.

Pastor Chris K, alias Omukiga, from the Warriors of God Fellowship, stated that although some people had begun torturing the thieves, they chose to forgive them since the stolen items had already been recovered.
