14 Pupils Graduate from Mahwa Primary School in Ntungamo
Ntungamo: Fourteen pupils have graduated from Top Class to Primary One at Mahwa Primary School in Nyamunuka Town Council, Ntungamo District.
The graduation and speech day ceremony was held on December 3, at the school premises in Mahwa Village, Iterero Ward, where parents, teachers, and community members gathered to celebrate the learners’ milestone.

Speaking during the event, the school head teacher, Denis Ayebazibwe, thanked parents for continuously supporting the school by entrusting them with their children. He encouraged especially vulnerable parents to approach the school administration for bursaries to enable their children to continue with their studies without interruption.
The guest of honor, Yassin Byamukama Katafa, the Nyamunuka Town Council Speaker who is also vying for the mayoral seat, advised parents to protect their children and stop sending them away for labor.
He urged them instead to involve their children in light domestic work that contributes to their upbringing and safety.
