Rev. Fr. Kafero Encourages Youth to Embrace Conferences for Spiritual and Personal Growth

Rukungiri: The parish priest of Kagongo Parish in the Mbarara Archdiocese, Rev. Fr Akleo Kafero, has encouraged the youth to actively participate in conferences that prepare them for a brighter future. 

Fr Kafero made these remarks on January 21, during the second day of a week-long youth conference held at Christ the King Catholic Parish in Western Division, Rukungiri Municipality. 

He urged the youth to identify their goals and challenges and to attend such conferences regularly to enrich their lives and secure a better future. Fr Kafero emphasized that the primary aim of the conference is to help the youth grow spiritually in God’s grace.

Participants like Brivato Nabibasa from Mashogora Hiika under Nyaburondo Centre, along with Xavier Ainebyona and Julius Nahabwe from Rushasha, expressed their reasons for attending the conference. They stated that their goal is to strengthen their faith, deepen their relationship with God, and learn valuable lessons to guide their lives.
